Geoffrey is an outgoing and free-spirited adventurer who loves to share a long day on the hill snowboarding, a rainy day in the water surfing or a thrilling tennis match with good friends. He also enjoys the challenge of learning and communicating in different languages, offering up improvisational cooking lessons and sharing some cold beers over an open camp fire. Michelle McDonald – Canadian Coordinator
Michelle McDonald currently works in the financial industry in British Columbia and has an extensive and successful background in sales. Michelle is probably one of the most polite and friendly people that you will ever meet, and really enjoys helping and making people feel good about themselves. In addition, Michelle has competed in competitive figure skating 13 years and is a great athlete! Today she enjoys spending time skiing and hiking in the mountains, and also reading while lounging on a warm beach. In the summer of 2011, Michelle travelled to eight countries on a month long European adventure and can tell you first hand how amazing this kind of trip really is. If you think that sounds fun, you could also ask her about swimming with sharks in the Bahamas!
Jovan Glisic – Tour driver and Balkan expert
Jovan Gliöic is a student at Visoka Poslovna äkola Strukovnih Studija (Higher School of business) in Novi Sad, and has a degree as a technician in civil engineering. He is very experienced with driving during all types of weather conditions, and has an expansive knowledge of the area’s roadways. Jovan’s hobby of modifying cars has brought him a second place finish in a regional competition for “most beautiful car” held in Loznica, Serbia. As a young man and student his interests have grown beyond just cars and parties to travelling, seeing new places and meeting new people from all over the world. Currently, Jovan is an active member of a car-styling club and junior accountant at his own firm. Most of all though, Jovan is an affable young adventure-seeking person, ethusiatic about continuing exploration the Balkans and also to show others why that region is so special!
Robert Manic
Robert Manic is an enthusiastic 28 years old professional fitness instructor from Serbia and will help lead our tours through the beautiful Balkan countryside. As advertised, Robert played rugby for national junior team of Serbia for 2 years and enjoys all Adrenaline sports. However, if you talk to him long enough, he will probably tell you about his number one passion – skydiving! Slightly more safe is Robert’s magnificent ability to create a tasty bbq (or ‘Rostilj’ in Serbian) out of next to nothing. Robert also backs these interests up with a degree in Hotel Management from the University of Novi Sad and works for Celebrity Cruise Line as a Sommelier. By participating on one of our tours, Robert will help increase your level of fitness and motivate you to try things that you never thought possible before!
